Assembly
We have started to assemble this car and you can see items such as wing beadings and running boards are now fitted. All items such as brakes and suspension are being worked on at the same time.

Here you can see the window frames and new window scrappers are fitted. Also you can see that we have sealed the inner panels. The floors have been seam sealed and will next get two heavy coats of chassis paint.The seam sealer helps to protect the chassis from corrosion and with this amount on the floors it also acts as a soundproofer too.

You can see here that this beetle is starting to come together. The bonnet and boot have been added and also windows and mechanisms have been fitted.The chrome on the body is fitted and the chassis and floors have received 2 coats of heavy chassis paint. Most of the mechanical work and wiring are done and the engine will be fitted at a later stage after receiving an overhaul and new parts.

Here you can see the headlamps and bumbers have been fitted to this beetle.Also the hood frame has been stripped, fitted in place and will receive its new headliner and outer cover.
